Overview
We are seeking someone with employment experience managing campaigns and interactions with the public on all social outlets working for a brand, agency or directly for a social channel. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for the urban lifestyle and fashion. Experience in social media, creative storytelling and digital innovation is also needed. He or she should be familiar with all facets of web marketing, including branded content development, social media, digital advertising, and web analytics. A strong level of creativity and the ability to market new and innovative ideas is needed to drive the future of our digital voice and the culture of our brand. This position requires extensive collaboration with the e-commerce team to implement social initiatives. In addition, this individual should always exercise good judgment when monitoring the community and engaging in fan conversations.
The Social Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of our Footaction community across all social media channels. This individual will post content, ensure timely responses, manage social media programs, and make sure the brand voice is carried out across all social media. The role will report on all social media analytics and deliver standard analysis and reporting of day to day posts, campaigns and the social listening sphere. They will work hand and hand with the E-cares team to ensure the best social customer response practices. The goal is to evolve our content storytelling, increase our earned media marketing techniques for Footaction while maximizing our social voice and increasing our fans engagement and loyalty.
Responsibilities
• Create and publish content on all social media channels
• Manage and maintain the day-to-day social media calendar
• Collaborate with social media director on overall social strategy
• Partner with brand, merchant and dotcom teams to develop and execute social strategy for all cross-channel marketing campaigns
• Attend Footaction and partner events and ensure the best social coverage
• Manage and grow the Footaction social media influencer program
• Create weekly and monthly reports on social media statistics and competitor analysis
• Help strategize, coordinate and execute all paid social campaigns
• Create and publish assets on the Footaction App
• Collaborate with the e-customer cares team in Wausau on social listening and response
• Stay versed in day to day topics relevant to the Footaction business
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or applicable field required
• 3-5 years employment experience owning social media campaigns including interactions with the public on all social outlets at a corporation, agency or employment at a social company
• Professional experience managing Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and other emerging channels with a strong knowledge of their participants and how to maximize each platform for campaigns
• Excellent communication skills (phone, e-mail and presentations)
• Writing skills and the ability to speak in the tone of the brand
• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies to meet department goals within budget and established timelines
• Extensive knowledge of all facets of the social space and ability to learn the competitive environment of division
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing requirements and technologies
• Experience with web analytics and comfort level in communication with IT and technical areas
• Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) Wordpress, Sprinklr (a plus)
