The North Face - Marketing Coordinator (Canada)
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Brand Marketing Coordinator is responsible for contributing to and supporting The North Face Brand marketing programs from planning to execution of Events, PR & Communications, Athlete and Ambassador program, Product Knowledge Support program as well as for developing, executing and tracking the Endemic Advertising strategies around key brand initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with the Brand Management team to coordinate GTM seasonal project implementation. Assist in the development of comprehensive marketing strategy (including brief development), manage the schedule for seasonal creative development and work with external agencies or internal creative teams to execute projects on time.
• Partner with Marketing Operations on management of all calendars and timelines for all brand marketing initiatives. Assist in the briefing and communication of asset development calendar with Global Brand teams and regional cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with the Brand’s agency, to plan, development, execution and track seasonal and corporate brand marketing plans for Public Relation and Communications, based on key marketing initiatives.
• Oversee and Manage Community Partnership program. Ensure partnership programs have the appropriate support and are in line with Brand key initiatives, to maximize the consumer facing coverage and opportunities, always making sure The North Face is associating with relevant partners and aligning with target consumers. This includes maintaining existing and creating new relationships within the industry network to improve The North Face’s positioning in market.
• As part of the Go-to-Market process, work with Cross Functional marketing teams to help create consumer promotional concepts that build brand equity and drive seasonal initiative stories at all consumer touchpoints. This includes, but not limited to advertising, sports marketing, PR and events.
• Manage and support the Product Knowledge program. This include, but not limited to creation of sales agents PK sessions tools and information kits, management of “Pro-Deal” programs and working with US counterpart to elaborate “Best in Class” PK program.
• Manage brand athletes and ambassadors including budgets, product needs, and content development.
• Key Influencers: Identifies key Canadian influencers for product seeding and PR opportunity
• Work in conjunction with North America eCommerce digital marketing team and Canadian DTC Merchandiser to ensure and coordinate regional relevancy and accuracy of the eCommerce platform.
• Create, manage and track all associated budgets to ensure on or under budget performance and all applicable project time lines to ensure on time, high quality deliverables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management/Marketing preferred.
• Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and years of experience.
• Computer/Software Applications: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite of applications.
• Able to occasionally work on weekends for events/activations
Skills:
• Highly motivated and creative self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong writing skills.
• Consumer brand, retail or Outdoor Industry experience a must.
• Astute multitasking and organizational skills required to excel in extremely fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Superior attention to detail.
