general purpose of the position: responsible for strategic business development and daily operations of stores, with specific responsibility for sales results, profitability and staff development.
Responsibilities:
scope of responsibility: 4-7 district managers/markets
essential duties and responsibilities:
selling/service
• meet and/or exceed region sales plans, control expenses and improve metrics for region through leadership, training and development, coaching and personal example
• responsible for sales development of the stores by creating business driving strategies as well as district/store specific business plans
• achieve district/store productivity targets including sales per hour, adt, upt, conversion, and capture rate
• responsible for the consistent implementation and enhancement of all selling tools including; the little green book of selling, the little pink book of selling and the client development program within region
• conduct regular store/market visits to ensure standards are maintained, expectations are being achieved and actions plans are developed in order to move the business forward
• coaching on all customer service issues in order to exceed customer expectations
• responsible for overall visual excellence across region
• act as a liaison between stores, buyers, planning and visual to ensure that merchandise assortments reflect the brand strategy and stock levels are appropriate to meet the needs of the business
leadership/staff development
• identification, selection and on-boarding of district management teams
• ensure top talent is selected across region
• assist district managers in training, coaching and developing excellent customer service standards, flawless store processes, impeccable visual standards and human resource compliance across markets
• ensure that all training and development programs are implemented and monitored for success
• touch base with each district manager on a weekly basis to gain an understanding of all aspects of their business including merchandising, staffing, operations, etc.
• act as a liason between district managers, leadership teams and the corporate office.
• perform annual performance evaluations for direct reports while overseeing the process at the store level by providing feedback on all management and associate reviews
operations
• oversee and control payroll budget for all stores/districts
• ensure all new store openings are executed seamlessly
• oversee maintenance and movement of inventory to ensure inventory shrinkage is less than 1%
• oversee p&l’s for districts/region and achieve operating budgets
Qualifications:
