The eCommerce Developer I – entry level position involves developing eCommerce web application solutions to meet business objectives. This position also requires a high degree of teamwork with a tenured and cohesive development team, making interpersonal skills and a positive attitude as important as technical qualifications.
Responsibilities:
• Work on projects and tasks assigned by eCommerce application managers
• Assist in the design, coding, and testing of technical eCommerce application solutions
• Adhere to coding standards defined by technical management.
• Develop applications utilizing standard systems development lifecycle processes
• Actively apply feedback received, and strive to continually improve performance.
• Proactively seek input from mentors, supervisors, and team members
• Learn and master Hanesbrands’ eCommerce applications
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical curriculum and 1 to 2 years experience preferred.
• In lieu of degree a combination of education and experience will be considered with successful completion of IT Training once you are hired.
• Knowledge of and experience with web applications
• Experience with latest versions of web browsers.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Dojo
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques
• Knowledge of object oriented programming methodology
• Experience with relational databases
• Understanding of web security
• Willingness and ability to rapidly learn new concepts and skillsets
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to listen to others and accept input from team members
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude.
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communications. Able to document and clearly explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills to research and solve problems
