Video is an incredibly powerful communications channel for us to engage with our 20-somethings and along with our other social channels, is central to everything we do. Compelling content that resonates with our girls and guys is what we’re about and the Video Team make this happen. As an editor you will be responsible for the creative ideation, execution and production of our hero content. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team as well as our creative, editorial, brand marketing and partnerships teams to create the very best content to help scale our video channels.
As a member of the Video Team you will champion every single piece of video output and you should always be thinking about shareability, how videos will gain impactful results and how they will contribute to the overall video strategy objectives.
The Junior Video Editor will be required to film and edit. The role requires a focused, driven, hardworking individual. You must be able to remain calm and professional in pressured situations while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. This role demands a team player who is eager to learn and develop and can grasp new information quickly. You will also be flexible and have the ability to think outside of the box and bring new ideas to the team.
What you'll be doing...
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work alongside the Video Editors and creatives to edit video projects across a number of platforms.
• Help Videographer on set with runner duties i.e. lighting set up, data logging and camera assisting.
• Aid with getting kit orders together for production.
• Complete post production for projects including localisation of graphics, encoding in different formats and uploading to the web
• Research music and video content as support material to video shoots
• Take a leading role in backing up all data and organising a media library
• Perform quality assurance on all video footage
• Accurately archive footage to be easily accessed by the Editorial team
We'd like to meet...
• Relevant experience working at a similar level.
• Previous fashion or entertainment experience desirable but not essential.
• Competent with Premier Pro
• After Effects desirable but not essential.
• Experience working in social media platforms.
• Competent self-shooter and knowledge of lighting set-ups.
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment well under pressure with a flexible, creative attitude both within a team and autonomously
• Knowledge of producing video across various platforms
• Highly creative and plugged into youth and pop culture
