Overview
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Anthropologie social media department. This position oversees the coordination of copy, creative, and digital assets for all posts and blog stories. The Social Media Coordinator must work effectively across departments to ensure clear communications, and relay that information back to the social media team in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be highly-organized, proficient at multi-tasking, and possess a self-starter attitude. He/she should inhabit a general excitement and passion for all things social media, and have their finger on the pulse of all social media news, and what other brands are doing.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and publish all social media content
• Oversee all engagement, moderation and customer service on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+
• Daily/Weekly updating of social marketing calendars
• Manage Basecamp asset management system for the social media team
• Schedule blog content in Wordpress
• Work with cross-functional partners to ensure product availability
• Process UGC requests for on-site placement and social media use
• Stay abreast of the social media landscape, developments, and trends
• Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the brand’s product, customer and policies
Qualifications
• Attention to detail and excellence in communication and organization skills
• Self-motivated and proficient at managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluency in social media
• Innovative and excited to bring ideas to the table
• Strong vision and entrepreneurial spirit
• Awareness of developments and trends in social media space
• Outgoing, collaborative individual that works well across departments
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media or a related field
