Staffing and Communications Coordinator, Times Square ( NEW STORE) ,Gap
• This position partners with the HR Manager and the Store Leadership Team to deliver targeted end-to-end HR solutions that enable a high performance culture.
• The Hiring & Training Manager supports the overall Old Navy Brand strategy and is responsible for executing against that strategy. Role models organizational values and behaviors.
• Follows policies and procedures throughout the employment process to ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, FMLA and other employment laws to reduce legal liability
• The Hiring and Training Manager oversees the applicant/hiring experience from end to end to ensure the most positive applicant experience while supporting the store in ensuring a complete, fully trained, high quality staff.
• The Hiring and Training Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of all training that takes place within the store.
• Supports the Human Resources Manager through the management of HR administrative process related to training, New Hire Orientation, employee files and paperwork and other administrative duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
• Perform additional duties, projects, etc. as necessary that support the Store.
• Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and coach others, with appropriate self-confidence and presence.
• Excellent prioritization skills.
• Ability to maximize partnerships by successfully leveraging other departments as necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills including an ability to be empathetic when appropriate.
• 6+ months experience in an administrative or training role, preferably in Human Resources
• Familiar with federal, state and local labor regulations.
• Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business.
