JOB PURPOSE
To coordinate day to day activities in order to manage 3-rd party operated transportation activities, making sure SLAs are maintained and financial targets are met through monitoring KPI performance. Escalate timely any operational issues, communicate with internal and external stakeholders and take active part in driving continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate transportation service providers making sure that the deliveries from/to various Burberry locations are made in a timely manner and within expectations of internal and external customers
• Maintain and/or implement KPI reports, ensure the quality of data in those reports and escalate if any discrepancies
• Take active part in driving continuous improvements across all Transportation areas
• Facilitate and control the CPU reports, ensuring the quality of data
• Ensure Transportation / Delivery data accuracy in SAP and other systems when and where required
• Create and maintain Standard Operations Procedures covering the day to day activities performed
• Raise any claims with the 3rd party service providers
• Communicate with Internal stakeholders (Other Customer fulfilment teams, Customer Operations, Retail Operations, Customs and Compliance, Marketing, Events, PR etc)
• Manage communicatuion with Internal stakeholders (Customer Operations, Retail Operations, Customs and Compliance, APP, Legal, Commercial Procurement)
• Assist Senior Transportation Manager and Transportation Manager in transportation development project
• When coordinating special projects, it might be required to cover activities in different time zones
PERSONAL PROFILE
• University degree in Supply Chain or Engineering or related field is preferred
• Proven work experience in in a similar role
• Good working knowledge of SAP
• Advanced Excel and numerical skills preferred
• 3PL/4PL model experience
• Experience in freight forwarding in a Textile/ Retail industry is ideal
