Director, Brand Visual, Gap Outlet
Role Description
The Director, Brand Visual leads the Visual Merchandising process for Gap Outlet from strategy through execution and in season management. This leader sits on the Outlet Leadership team and is a key contributor to the success of the Global Gap Outlet channel
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the creative direction for the visual merchandise presentation, balancing the creative with commercial.
• Set strategy and provide direction for the overall look and feel of the stores including windows.
• Based on business strategies and product strategy, build monthly visual merchandising presentation.
• Responsible for creating visual merchandising presentation directive for stores. Pre-season planning tool for the stores will become digitally formatted presentation book that include mannequin styling photos.
• Participate in seasonal and weekly commercial plan meeting.
• Address any in-season visual move based on inventory and promotional activities.
• Live model store set up to factor in promotional activities.
• Compile and publish live model store photo deck to stores prior to fleet flow date.
• Responsible for QPR set up for Outlet.
• 10+ years apparel retail visual merchandising experience
• Strong demonstrated drive for results.
• Strong creative skills and real passion for product.
• Ability to move the business forward by constantly creating newness and impact.
• High taste level and aesthetic.
• Strong understanding of Gap aesthetic.
