Digital PR Coordinator - CALVIN KLEIN
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Public Relations Coordinator will support the Digital Public Relations Manager in the execution of all digital public relations strategies and promotional campaigns as well as align digital public relations programs to complement the company’s online and offline advertising and marketing strategies.
In support of the Digital Public Relations Manager, this position is responsible for providing a wide-range of assistance to the Global Communications department in extending the communications strategy and initiatives as it pertains to digital talents, partnerships, special events, online editorial, and digital platforms. The Digital Public Relations Coordinator will also liaise with peers on the Global Communications, Digital Marketing, Global Marketing, North America Marketing, and Regional Communications teams within the company to support strategy and align on initiatives as appropriate.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
• Support the execution of all global Digital Public Relations concepts, ideas and partnerships that promote all business lines and products, working closely with the Digital Marketing and Marketing teams.
• Help coordinate across all stages of Digital Public Relations programs: including global strategy, product management, product storytelling, content capture and report compilation + distribution.
• Earned digital tracking + reporting: Identify and compile into reports all key social media coverage from influencers, editorial outlets and relevant digital media channels as it relates to coverage of brand launches and news in partnership with regional communications teams.
• Use and identify new technical and digital platforms to help with digital media and influencer analytics
• Work in support of Digital Public Relations Manager and Digital Marketing team, ideating and developing content for owned and earned social media properties, across all Calvin Klein brands and initiatives.
• Assist the Digital Public Relations Manager in identifying and managing relationships with key cultural talents, digital influencers and industry partners who align with the brand’s message, lines of business, aesthetic and lifestyle globally.
• Assist in seasonal development of global digital talent strategy in partnership with regional communications teams: setting social media guidelines, identifying the season’s commercial product programs and curating talent selection.
• Facilitate internal communication across Global Communications and regional communications teams around events, campaigns, editorial efforts, brand news and digital talent programs for aligned global strategy.
• Assist in the management of digital influencer database and liaise with talent teams on content creation, product coordination and posting timelines.
• Assist in the creation and development of internal and business-to-business presentations, strategies and collateral materials.
• Consistently research and identify online/digital opportunities for the brand and relevant trends.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the digital/social media space ideally with a fashion/beauty/fragrance focus, and a long-term desire to pursue a career in digital communications and fashion public relations.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required
Skills:
• Strong interpersonal communications skills and ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment.
• Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects.
• Must be motivated, flexible, poised, and adaptable in rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.
• Developed editorial and design skills (writing, editing, grammar, proofreading, laying out + designing presentations, etc.) along with a high-level of creativity.
• A strong aesthetic sensibility and exposure to/understanding of fashion, photography, architecture, and/or art required.
