The North Face: Designer, Brand Experience
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Brand Experience Designer are to design elements of the company's retail environments, support the DTC teams in the design of new stores and creates a vision and template for world-class consumer experiences at retail. Brings a track record in designing visual programs to ensure a more exciting store environment which presents merchandise in a manner that provides the customer with a strong reason to buy, promotes an environment that enhances brand credibility and drives brand loyalty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design to the vision of the overall experience at TNF retail locations across all Territories. Assists with establishing and adhering to materials palette, and design guidelines.
• Lead the design and experience of owned TNF environments such as brand experiences, events and partnership spaces.
• Design to consistent visual standards for wholesale and retail stores.
• Aid in the design of windows, elevated display and other in-store items.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Marketing, Design or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Art and Design, Business, Retail Merchandising, or related field.
• Experience in visual merchandising including fixture and store design.
• Outdoor equipment experience a plus.
• Computer/Software Applications: Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record for successfully developing innovative visual designs.
• Highly organized and operationally minded.
• Excellent interpersonal communications, teamwork, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with consistent attention to details.
• Proficient writing and editing skills.
• Travel required: 5%
