Marketing Manager Sneaker Culture
Description
As a member of the Nike Sportswear Territory brand team, you will work to service selected accounts and manage the go-to-market process for some of our retail partners in Austria, Germany and Switzerland (AGS) focusing first on Western Europe relevant partners and extending to locally relevant partners when appropriate. While only executing lifestyle product stories and launches, you will also work to align all the categories involved in the ecosystem so as to streamline the communication to our partners.
Integrate the development, execution and evaluation of account market plans for Nike Sportswear (NSW) in selected channels. Ensure that strategic plans follow an understanding of Brand, Retail Brand Marketing and Commerce priorities so as to best service the needs of the marketplace. Work effectively across categories, functions and partners.
This role is responsible for developing, managing and executing NSW marketing plans to drive the strategy.
As our Marketing Manager you'll lead Nike Sportswear’s marketing vision and partner with other categories as needed to build our brand and business. You'll develop long-term and seasonal strategies and plans based on an understanding of Brand, Digital, Retail and Commerce priorities as well as the current marketplace.
You'll lead our relationships with accounts by developing effective working partnerships. You will support the category direction and lead negotiations to support key brand and business priorities, drive internal and external marketing alignment and continually strive to improve our impact with consumers.
Drive strategy, creativity, and oversee execution for the consumer Nike experience, including creative assets to support launches, digital and social media assets, and in-store environment.
Furthermore, you'll collaborate with category and functional teams to support and augment our brand plans. You will need to be able to work effectively across different teams. You'll clearly communicate long-term and seasonal goals and priorities. In addition, you'll oversee the budget in support of the Territory NSW Marketing Director.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Plan, develop, execute and review seasonal and category launch plans in partnership with the account, the Territory NSW Brand lead and the bigger marketing team.
• Manage relationships with regular visits and act as point person for NSW with the account.
• Manage the go-to-market process and build accounts plan calendar to fulfil asset creation needs and flow of launches across categories.
• Drive premium and creative benchmark product launches and retail partnerships through digital, social, retail and events.
• Work closely with Western Europe and Territory category to integrate and maximise plans.
• Understand the consumer, the competitive market, the influencer and its impact on the account.
• Be the brand voice to external partners and internal account teams.
• Be the voice of the consumer.
• Create a legacy.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience including strategic marketing role
• Experience of working with fashion, footwear, lifestyle brands preferred
• Understand and be passionate about Sneaker Culture.
• Strong understanding of social media and digital commerce.
• Show creative thinking/ideas.
• Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal / external resources.
• Ability to work in complex organization
• Self-starting and proactive leader with executional and strategic capabilities.
• This candidate must display creativity and a strong knowledge of the digital function.
