SUMMARY
Under Armour is seeking a strong Color Visionary to join and lead our Color Concept team. Reporting to the Sr. Design Director, Color & Innovation, the Sr. Designer will manage a team that researches, evaluates, designs, and communicates Seasonal Concept Direction for Under Armour’s Global Footwear, Apparel and Accessories teams. The Sr. Designer will deliver seasonal, trend, and market right Color and Material toolkits that drive the Seasonal Direction across all categories. We’re looking for a true artist with a strong pulse on trend and ability to vision the future color strategy for Under Armour.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
• Deliver seasonal, trend, and market right Color and Material toolkits that drive the Seasonal Direction across all categories
• Gather inspiration for color strategy based on market trends, research, retail, travel and fine arts
• Support the Footwear, Apparel and Accessories Creative Direction by helping to build early directional concepts that offer insight into relevant Color & Materials
• Create a library of resources each season by conducting extensive research and staying ahead of trend
• Collaborate and deliver Apparel alignment for key strategy seasonal initiative
• Build Seasonal Color Palettes and oversee their creation, distribution, and management in Armoury
• Build and inspire a team of designers

WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED?
• BFA in Design with 5-7+ years experience.
• Understanding of construction, materials, color application, color standards and adherence to best practices for each
• Strong presentation skills and comfort working with a group in an extremely fast paced environment
• Experience building and inspiring a team of designers
• Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to successfully meet multiple deadlines
• Obsessive drive to push the boundaries within Color
• Ability to anticipate emerging color trends and build the Under Armour color story
