Working in collaboration with Art, Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and Global Retail Regions/Markets, the Global Visual Merchandising Manager ensures the consumer experience of the Benefit brand is consistent, elevated, and maintained through the design, development, production and deployment of all VM assets. These assets will be comprehensive, adaptable, and executable to all end users, while always maintaining Benefit DNA design integrity. This role requires the ability to work quickly and efficiently in an environment that is always creatively evolving, identify and creatively problem solve revenue driving opportunities, work collaboratively within a creative multi-disciplinary team, partner and communicate clearly and professionally to all levels of management and employees, develop process and procedure that may not currently exist, and support the V.P. of Brand/Store Design and Global Creative Services Team on other projects as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of all current Global VM guideline documentation
• Support new product launches by merchandising and photographing approved layouts, and designing and deploying the product launch visual merchandising guideline.
• Design, develop and deploy seasonal promotional guidelines
• Update the the bi-annual “Counter Culture” global visual merchandising guidelines
• Partner to resolve field-specific requests for VM solutions that require adaptation from existing guidelines based upon store volume, size and type, and/or cultural norms
• Build strong and effective relationships with global teams to align support for all VM guidelines
• Provide ongoing support for VM guidelines to the Global Visual Merchandising team through weekly email information updates.
• Update Standards manual as needed
• Manage weekly visual blog updates
• Maintain and organize archival launch material
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 5 + years’ experience in retail environment and or Corporate/HQ Visual Merchandising
• Merchandising experience in retail cosmetics, fragrances or specialty division
• BA in design, marketing or equivalent work experience
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, PPT, and Microsoft Office platforms
• Ability to organize time and work independently
• Excellent, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel in-market as needed
