JOB PURPOSE
To drive development of the Travel Retail business, and to influence and coordinate Travel regional business through cross-functional collaboration both internally and externally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboration and Cross Functional Communication
• Develop strong relationships with key external partners through consistent communication. Act as the point person between external and internal functional teams.
• Cross divisional collaboration within US wholesale, retail and other travel retail teams on product assortments.
• Partner with Construction & Design, Wholesale/Merchandising/Planning/ Operations on store fixture needs and any new store openings.
• Partner with visual on monthly guidelines needed to highlight relevant product strategies, signing and standards.
• Partner with operations on any needed bags/packaging or collateral needed to drive the business.
• Partner with finance on the monthly shipping targets for the travel retail businesses and working with account executive on monthly, seasonal and annual targets.
Key Account Management
• Analyse & validate business plans from external partners which provide information about customers, travel retail landscape, distribution strategy, targets, forecast projection, pricing.
• Analyse and communicate detailed weekly, monthly and seasonal sales & inventory reporting
• Negotiate business terms (payment terms, price structure, shipping extensions) with external partners.
• Prepare budget & forecast internally & externally for Travel Retail, regularly review business performance to maximize business opportunity.
• Analyse & review the open-to-buy budgets in alignment with shop capacities.
• Provide customer service to customers
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Strong planning & organizational skills
• Strong analytical mind
• Sound negotiation, communications and selling skills
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Team player
• Minimum of 3 years relevant fashion brand related work experience
• Understanding of multiple retail business models
• Ability to align, influence and lead teams
• Strong presentation skills
