Manager, Production, Lauren

Key Responsibilities:
• Costing and MU Goal Management
◦ Estimate and analyze the cost of each product in development stage
◦ Negotiate and achieve/exceed set MU goal of Lauren RTW
◦ Provide and maintain accurate and organized information for samples, garment deliveries and all issues
◦ Flag to merchants and design on the styles that concern MU goals – work on cost options
• Market Sample development and delivery
◦ Analyze product development issues and proactively communicate any delays in samples and/or production to Design, Product Development and Material Team
◦ Lead and monitor the approval process (proto, s/sample and all components) to ensure on time arrival of all s/samples to the showroom
◦ Communicate and resolve potential issues that affect meeting deadlines
◦ Attend fit sessions and follow up with PD for on-time pattern/comment release
◦ Notify Design and PD of styles that could potentially delay or cause production issues
• Time Action and Production Management
◦ Manage the deadlines for fit approvals, sample dates, production timing
◦ Manage all the booking timeline and ensure max flexibility for merchandising
◦ Monitor OK-To-Buy date in relation to calendar
◦ Manage the factory performance by monitoring flexibility on production, lead-time and quality of fit and shipment samples.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4-6 years of experience in the apparel industry
• Knowledge of woven fabric and garment manufacturing process
• Knowledge of brand product development includes experience of denim, leather products
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication and cross-functional team collaboration skills; ability to work closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Planning, agents/factories and DC
• Strong organizational skills with detailed attention to product information
• Strong computer skills; excel, outlook, PLM
