Administrative Assistant position reporting to Vice President of Design Development. This position will provide support for design and candidate must possess strong administrative and communication skills with strict attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage VP’s calendar: coordinate all meetings and travel, anticipate appropriate timing, complete knowledge of meeting attendees.
• Manage office supplies, department expenses and expense reporting for VP.
• Liaise and coordinate between Accessory Design department and licensees in providing seasonal information for Lauren (Sportswear, jeans & active) and Chaps sportswear: concept rig photos, color palettes, prints, woven patterns, sketches, logos and trim concepts.
• Liaise with various internal departments to get seasonal information in a timely manner (i.e. print department, color department, woven department, etc.)
• Assist in rigging and de-rigging accessories and sportswear for Lauren and Chaps showrooms.
• Photograph seasonal concept rig walls and showrooms.
• Consistent maintenance and organization of archive library:
• Track accessory and licensed products used in showrooms.
• Track samples on loan to licensees for concept and inspirations.
• Track samples borrowed from other departments and purchased for inspiration.
• Maintain archive library of purchased products, samples, and riggings samples.
• Manage and maintain organization of showroom closet of additional licensed products.
• Archive and manage rigging samples used for each seasonal concept rig.
• College graduate in related field.
• Several years’ experience in related profession.
• Excellent organizational skills; neat.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills – must be able to communicate clearly.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of VP.
• Ability to stay on task and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to be flexible with daily tasks.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Highly detail orientated.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through.
• Proactive, determined, hard-working, resourceful, positive, and enthusiastic.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
