Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As part of a three person in-house design studio within the Talent Futures team, the Employer Brand Design Studio leads the way in all visual communications, stories and content for employer brand activation to attract the right talent to adidas Group. As an employer brand designer you are a key player in bringing the global and local employer brand stories to life, all with the goal of attracting the best talent to adidas Group in all locations. Utilizing our employer brand experience guide and style guide you will work closely to help us tell the story of what makes adidas Group a great place to work.
As a creator of our visual communications your work is key in translating our brand promise, story and values into visual design. In this role as in-house designer you will be working closely with another designer and a filmaker. Your visual stories will be focus on all of the moments that matter to attracting and keeping talent. This includes communications and campaigns for all of talent including talent acquisition, leadership, performance management, learning and talent & HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and develop employer brand visual communications and content including recruitment marketing tactics such as job advertisements, web-banners, employee referral communications, digital and social media content
• Conceptualize, develop and maintain campaigns and content for adidas Group career page
• Collaborate with various internal clients, colleagues and partners to efficiently and accurately translate project needs into functional design and to ensure our creative is in alignment with our (Employer) Brand standards.
• Assist in the effective implementation and usage of the Employer Brand Experience Guide and Employer Brand Identity Style guide.
• Produce final art and electronic pre-press files leveraging advanced skills in Adobe InDesign. Advanced skills in InDesign: Demonstrate knowledge on how to set-up a document for print. Knowledge of the appropriate properties of page layouts for print, web
• Maintain creative within our Employer Brand Creative Studio (EBCS) toolkit
• Upload and update creative as well as provide clear instructions for file use
• Act as a trend-spotter for modern design thinking, innovations in marketing communications and design technologies
• Contribute to the ideation, conceptualization and development of employer brand management & strategy
• Leverage an iterative design process of prototyping, testing and analyzing while staying focused on the end delivery dates and budget.
• Give valuable input and assistance in the development and preservation of the adidas Group Employer Brand creative direction, including imagery mood, video, music & motion graphics direction, graphic design & layout direction, as well as colour pallet, logo and font use.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Proven experience in storytelling through visual communication design including discovery, conceptualization, production, iteration and communication.
• Proven ability to solve complex communications problems through the application of visual design skills e.g. ideation, typography, layout, color theory, contrast, spatial, visual presentation/speaking skills.
• Strong project management and iterative design skills including a strong sense of leadership for your creative process and an attention to project detail deadlines & budget
• Excellent design thinking skills; you can take something that is deficient or incomplete and turn it into something amazing.
• A knowledge and affinity with social media (even if only as a user)
• Demonstrate knowledge of design principles, elements, and page layout composition.
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite (especially InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop) and Microsoft Office applications.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in visual communications or related design field.
2. Minimum 2+ years’ experience
3. Experienced with a proven track record
