Scope and Responsibilities
Leading with Digital, Converse is setting a bold strategic plan to enable and inspire consumer self-expression by positioning converse.com as the first and best source for authentic Converse products and experiences. Reporting directly to the Performance marketing manager of e-Commerce EMEA, the e-Commerce Performance Marketing specialist will be a key member of the team, responsible for driving quality traffic and revenue Online for one of the most iconic brands in the world.
Your responsibilities will range from planning, implementing, analyzing, optimizing and overall managing all aspects of the Email program. You will work closely with Brand, Merchandising, and Site Experience teams to build a best-in-class Email program that drives customer engagement, loyalty and increases lifetime value. This opportunity requires the strategic expertise to grow the program as well as the entrepreneurial roll-up-your-sleeves initiative to execute it. Additionally, you’ll partner with our global teams to ensure that email programs are adapted and localized where appropriate.
You will also support the projects around other performance marketing channels such as Paid Search, Natural Search, Remarketing and Affiliate Marketing and work towards achieving performance goals aligned with the Western Europe and Global Direct to Consumer (DTC) strategy and priorities.
You will leverage analytical skills to ensure we are measuring our programs effectively and evolving them to be even better in the future. You will drive traffic and revenue, achieve targeted ROI and maintain positive KPI trends. Also work closely with Analytics team to turn data into actionable insights, to understand the consumer, improve marketing performance, and the overall business. You own and manage relationships with vendors and agencies to ensure they have the necessary campaign details and assets on-time in order to execute our campaigns optimally.
Qualifications
• Bachelor in Marketing, Advertising, eCommerce, Business or a related field.
• 2+ years digital (performance) marketing experience, preferably with a premium eComm brand within an international environment (corporate or agency)
• Sound understanding/knowledge of Email marketing (required), Natural Search, Paid Search, Affiliates, Display, and loyalty programs.
• Ability to translate merchandising and brand efforts into meaningful email campaigns that produce results
• Experience with mobile and social media advertising including apps is a plus
• Demonstrate great commercial & industry acumen
• Strong analytics skills with the ability to identify the metrics that drive success, understand multiple data sources, drive conclusions and deliver meaningful, actionable strategic recommendations. Make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.
• Ability to effectively manage a 3rd party external agency.
• Excellent working knowledge of web analytics tools and the ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources – experience in Omniture and Salesforce is a plus
• Strong communication skills: written & oral and ability to quickly build strong relationships
• Ability to work across cultures and geographies to support local digital needs
• Ability and desire to work at both the strategic and tactical levels.
