Visual Merchandising Manager - Dorothy Perkins (Head Office)

The role
To support the Brand in the implementation and consistency of the Brand strategy.
What you will be doing day to day
• Work with Brand to develop in store p.o.s materials to promote key product statements/ offers and brief into Visual ops all p.o.s requirements within agreed timescales
• Maintain and update p.o.s library
• Manage the introduction of new p.o.s to retain Brand integrity
• Brief internal Creative Design teams on new elements and to ensure we achieve our deadlines
• Agree allocations, cost and manage budget and co-ordinate all artwork tasks
• Conduct regular comp shops to develop awareness of competitor visual merchandising activity and feedback to team on a regular basis.
• Management of the Print Workflow tool for all Visual operations briefs
• Management of the Print Workflow tool for the store graphic requests
• Liaising with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure the stores receive the correct graphics in the correct quantities to launch all promotions
• Working with the Marketing department to ensure all graphics are the latest brand thinking
• Working with the Print Purchasing department to ensure the Model Store graphics are received in store at the correct time in the correct quantities
• Working with the Print Purchasing and Marketing departments to ensure all photographics are the correct quality
• Liaise with the Buying teams and Marketing department to ensure window graphics are in store at the correct time
• Liaise with the Merchandising teams and Visual Operations department to ensure that stores receive the correct sale graphic package at the correct time
• Working with Creative team to ensure briefs are produced to the correct specification
• Briefing purchasing department to ensure all briefs are within budget, delivered within the required timescales, taking into account store limitations/requirements
• Ensuring all allocations are correct
• Ensuring all venues are booked accurately and to correct specification
• Co-ordinating all materials required to support the rollout
• Seeks feedback from Store Managers, Area Managers, Regional Controllers
• Build effective relationships with B&M, Retail Operations and Marketing
• Agree department objectives and strategy with Head of Brand Visual Merchandising
• Plans and priorities workload
• Manages and develops VM Admin Assistant and VM Operations Coordinator
• Must haves
• Excellent visual skills and eye for detail with the ability to develop creative ideas & solutions

• Ability to influence & communicate effectively at all levels
• Has the ability to build strong working relationships
