Emerging Markets Visual Presentation TMP Director
Description
As our Product Presentation Director, you will ensure that product is presented to support brand and business priorities in a manner that will appeal to consumers. You will develop visual displays that adapt the brand messages to a retail environment. You will provide leadership to managers, coordinators, supervisors and/or professional staff at both the corporate level and the field level . You will develop departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities. You will manage the team and set team and individual goals that align with department and functional goals. You will coach staff, create opportunities for staff development, make hiring decisions, and drive performance management, recognition and rewards. You will develop team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance. You will set the strategy and direction for implementation of corporate product presentation and space development standards for assigned group of retail stores. You will develop product presentation and space development standards that support overall brand visual strategy. You'll oversee the implementation of key initiatives and seasonal strategies. You will create visual merchandising guidelines and process for new store openings and remodels. You will develop training strategies to ensure that field personnel have adequate knowledge of visual standards and visual merchandising techniques. You will work cross functionally to support the buying, planning and allocation teams to plan assortments to space. You will interact with GMM, field management and other key business partners to ensure that product presentation strategy supports overall business strategy and direction. You will manage, select, coach, and develop a team of Visual Merchandising professionals at the corporate level and the field level. In addition, you'll assist retail leadership in identifying and developing key talent. You will work cross functionally within a brand leadership team that includes retail brand presentation, consumer experience, design and marketing in an integrated offense.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising or related degree
• Minimum 8 years' retail experience
• 6 years within visual presentation and/or merchandising
• Must have performed and managed all merchandising functions within scope of job including display development and implementation
• Must have apparel experience
• Must have multi-store retail visual/merchandising experience
• Must have a passion for sports
• Must have strong business acumen
• Must have experience at the Director level
• Strong apparel/footwear experience is an asset
• Computer skills: Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote
