Summary:
To conceive, propose and design compelling printed artwork for memorabilia for our sports and entertainment brands. The graphic designer will be responsible for all aspects of graphic design and preparing products for sale across all sports. Will also assist the Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director in conceptualizing new product lines along with replicating current designs across multiple athletes and teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Replicate product lines based on template based concepts
• Create designs in a deadline oriented environment
• Create concepts by mixing Brand identity rules with creative opportunities.
• Partner with brand managers and other employees on custom projects, hot market event items, limited edition items and conceptual product lines.
• Learn photo editing standards and other techniques essential to creating striking visual products for the fans.
• Responsible for maintaining and advancing graphical techniques and sports knowledge
• Responsible for being detail oriented and meeting deadlines on or ahead of time.
Job Requirements
• Must be able to work on a Mac or PC.
• Must have proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign along with Microsoft applications.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, effectively communicate with internal brand managers regarding products and concepts.
• Must be able to meet constant deadlines and time constraints,proven.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Knowledge of design elements is vital; artistic ability and creativity are essential.
• Sports knowledge is advantageous
• Present finalized ideas, designs and concepts to various department.
Education and Experience:
• Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign along with Microsoft applications
• 2 years experience required
