Overview
The Analyst is responsible for liaising between Merchandising, Advertising, and Public Relations groups on joint projects. He/She will collaborate with manager and peers on worldwide initiatives from planning and concept stages to execution. He/She will support regional marketing and public relations initiatives, coordinate Merchandising approvals and photography for marketing and PR campaigns, and ensure consistency and accuracy among all Public Relations and Advertising product communications.
Responsibilities
The Analyst will coordinate approval process for Editorial Borrows and Public Relations Related Events in which STOCK skus are requested. This includes photo shoots Blogger Events, Celebrity Dressing, PR Luncheons. He/She will facilitate all transfers, communicate product needs, timelines and other deliverables to Global Category Marketing, Global Merchandising Operations and Retail, review and approve merchandise lists; provide sku options when applicable and ensure accurate credit information. This individual will assist the team with Public Relations related requests for New Collections (Blue Book and Masterpieces), including (1) Photography needs, (2) Product Information Master File creation and maintenance, and (3) Review of Copy and Credits. In addition, the Analyst will assist with the approval process for Editorial Borrows and Award Shows in which BB and Masterpiece Skus are requested. He/She will facilitate all transfers, communicate product needs, timelines and other deliverables to Global Category Marketing, Product Development and Public Relations and provide status updates to Merchandising, Retail, and Public Relations for large transfer requests. The Analyst will partner with Team on Press Preview Planning by leading coordination of Logistics and Shipments for Press Preview; Partner with Inventory Control and Transportation on Carnet creation and execution, communicating logistics to Regional Teams and helping with Ad Hoc requests related to product (availability, status, etc.).
The Analyst will initate sku selection for Catalogues and other advertising needs. He/She will do so by creating Image Grids with product recommendations, seeking approval from Global Category Marketing (all), Global Merchandising Operations (stock), and/or Product Development (samples) and executing transfers. This individual will assist the team with sample photography needs for Blue Book by coordinating product hand offs and helping prepare and update photography files with availability and product information; request and track transfers. The Analyst will partner with team on reviewing, editing and approving catalogue copy and images for accuracy and consistency. He/She will schedule all color correction meetings and coordinate read-through meetings, distribute hard copies of files, and follow-up on discrepancies or open questions. In addition, this individual will represent the team in weekly Brand Forum Meetings and provide weekly recaps.
The Analyst will oversee all Tiffany.com projects from the Category perspective. He/She will provide, review, and approve Images and Copy for Tiffany.com. In addition, this individual will ensure continued updates and maintenance of new High Jewelry Section. The Analyst will partner with Global Sales Operations and Brand Management on bi-annual updates of the High Jewelry app. She/He will attend team meetings and assist with meeting recaps, provide sku list and Product Information and Edit and approve final copy. The Analyst will work on application enhancement and increase of functionalities. He/She will oversee schedulinh Photography, Retouching, and Copy schedule for PKB, provide support for e-commerce project as needed (ex. maintain assortments in PMA update/correct copy) and maintain and update Internal Press Site.
The Analyst will distribute monthly Public Relations' Monthly Press Roundup/Clips, Catalogue recaps and Event Summaries. He/ She will maintain and update the High Jewelry Team site by coordinating monthly updates with Analysts team members. The Analyst will create and maintain calendars to track progress of Marketing/Public Relations related projects. He/She will kick off project with calendar; add update if timeline changes, and provide feedback on the schedule once the project is complete.
The Analyst will manage the receiving process of new receipts into location 64. He/She will coordinate photography for PKB, transfer Blue Book and Masterpieces new receipts to Event Location and coordinate and request stock transfers in and out of location. This individual will identify opportunities for improvement in current Marketing/Public Relations and Merchandising processes (ex. borrow process, transportation, credit approvals) , evaluate options and ultimately document and implement recommended processes. He/She will identify areas of opportunity for which new tools and/or resources are needed to improve efficiency; evaluate options and ultimately document and implement recommended processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of professional experience.
• Applicable candidates should be self-motivated and possess a drive for excellence. They should feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment, being able to manage pressing deadlines and competing priorities. They should possess an aptitude for analytical thinking and a collaborative outlook.
• Must be extremely organized, have excellent follow-up skills and an acute attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, with the ability to master new software programs when needed.
• Must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 – 3 years of PR/Marketing Agency or Merchandising experience, preferably with a luxury branded product.
• Having a good overall knowledge of the product offered at Tiffany & Co. is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in company-specific applications (Business Objects, Product Management Application, and Atlas/MIPs) also preferred.
• Fine-tuned analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
