About the role...
Being a Wholesale Assistant Merchandiser at Wallis you will be a member of a 5 person team who currently manage 7 digital wholesale partners. You will be an integral part in managing day to day business working with other wholesale team members, and Buying/Merch teams. You will also be a brand ambassador selling the Wallis brand and maximizing opportunities through merchandise planning.
What you’ll be doing…
• Act as the key point of contact for all partners for day to day operational matters and in person on showroom visits to Wallis
• To understand and report on weekly performance, submitting weekly sell thru reports on wholesale accounts and identifying potential growth in over performing categories.
• Sales forecasting and managing intake from placing orders to delivery in market
• Develop & establish relationships with existing & new business accounts
• Update weekly order trackers, sales and OTB tracker.
• Monthly reforecast of WSSI and OTB management, ensuring a balanced flow of stock to market
• Manage and support the workload of MAA
• Working with the Merch, Buying and Logistics teams to ensure successful delivery of product to market
• Weekly trade phone calls with partners
• Provide and support on seasonal reviews and lessons learnt ensuring consistency across all markets
• Compiling monthly competitor reports highlighting new directions, product opportunities and pricing.
• Conducting trade analysis to identify key opportunities & risks for the markets of responsibility
