Senior Manager, Brand Communications, Fitness
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
• Plan and lead the team to implement the Global BU's communication strategy making it locally relevant to the core fitgen consumers as well as broaden the reach to the active population in order to build the brand and the category and to drive sales profitably.
• Lead a truly integrated digital marketing implementation to maximize marketing activities for Fitness BU
Key Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC THINKING:
• Establish the overarching marketing strategy broken down into yearly/seasonal plans for all key Fitness categories (Women, Training & Running) anchored in consumer needs & insights and set within the competitive context & brand performance.
• Provide input to the Global Bus on local insights/needs, gaps & supports to ensure global Brand marketing tools are optimized to best meet Market needs and significantly improve Brand business KPIs.
• Leverage partnership and agencies input in building the strategic plans & in defining opportunities for growth
• Clearly define the core consumers (demographics, habits, attitudes…etc.) and insights relevant to the market & to refine the target consumer by category per global guidance, leveraging existing or initiating new research where required
• Provide input into the overall seasonal, annual and Strategic Business Plan (SBP) for the category.
• Create the seasonal and annual brand marketing and activation plan including fitness marketing partner and attack strategy, landing the Global priorities and significantly improving Brand KPIs.
• Develop the annual digital marketing plan in cooperation with BU, Brand Activation (BA), and Channels and ensure activities
• Brief Global Concept-to-Consumer/Digital Brand Commerce team on any additional Market digital marketing needs, obtain approval and create and execute the initiatives in line with brand guidelines.
EXECUTION EXCELLENCE:
• Create and consolidate the Market Brand Calendar for BU Fitness, including Omnichannel activation & digital.
• Develop, plan and manage BU Event activation by working closely with the Brand Activation team and the Product team to land the brand/product USP in the most impactful way.
• Manage and execute BU campaigns in collaboration with Global BU and Market BU.
• Deliver global brand communication creative & media direction to the agencies and to cascade the plan with Reebok members and sales account managers.
• Allocate and manage the MWB across the marketing mix to best improve Brand and business KPIs.
• Deliver the best possible sell-in tools together with Trade Marketing, Retail Marketing, and Fitness Marketing teams (advertising, media, trade marketing, own retail marketing, e-com, consumer-facing events, PR and social tools) for the category and augment where needed with Global approval.
• Secure a Brand-relevant local partner portfolio (including contract creation, negotiation, and contract execution) and lead all partner related day-to-day business.
• Support global relevant events in case of being host market (e.g. CrossFit Regional Games).
• Plan and ensure Fitness partners and showcase the seasonal key concepts
PERFORMANCE TRACKING:
• Ensure all activities are driving brand first while still maintaining a commercial balance.
• Monitor and report on campaign’s performance against the Brand and business KPIs.
• Initiate & execute reactive actions plans upon campaign’s performance analysis
• Track and monitor partner’s performance result and reflect to BU Brand Communications team future plans.
• Relevant KPIs include:
• BU market share
• BU market sales vs plan
• QCS
• Owned and earned social media KPI’s
• eCom traffic & conversion
• Sell-through for total category & key concepts
• Market share of voice
• Omni channel traffic
LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
• Lead the marketing team, setting clear vision on the WHAT & the HOW we are delivering the BU strategy
• Be a role model, coach & prepare the team to grow into people’s manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Strategic thinking & influencing skills

• Significant knowledge of the full marketing mix (advertising, events, sponsorship, retail) with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred)
• Proven media planning/buying experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships (among peers, agency management, cross-function/cross-departments)
• Collaborative mindset/ Live the Delta
• Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
• Experience in both market and above market organization preferred
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Over 7 years of marketing or sales and/ or communications experience including digital experience in sporting goods or fast fashion retail or FMCG industry preferred
• International experience if possible
• Fluent in both local language and English (if applicable)
