Director IT - Finance, HR and International Systems
Overview
Terrific opportunity to lead the IT strategy, delivery and support of Finance and Human Resources systems globally for an iconic brand. Support and maintain the legacy Order Management platform (Oracle World) for all international markets. Serve as the direct IT partner to Finance and HR leadership and collaborate with IT and Business Stakeholders to align the business strategies and plans with the overall IT agenda.
Responsibilities
• PROJECT DELIVERY: Deliver the agree projects on time and in budget without business disruption.
• PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Manage oversight of IT project portfolio for the Finance & HR functions, and initiate new projects as required. Manage and balance demand and capacity including alignment on resources within other internal or external teams. Ensure the IT portfolio is aligned with the overall IT Strategy and Priorities; including Applications, Infrastructure and Security Strategies.
• SUPPORT AND AVAILABILITY: Manage support and availability of IT platforms and solutions including partnership with Application Managed Service providers.
• BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Partner with business leaders to ensure alignment of IT priorities and investments with Tiffany's IT agenda and long term business strategies.
• TEAM LEADERSHIP: Lead and develop direct reports and team through the performance management process and ongoing coaching and career discussions. Ensure that effective performance management practices are followed within department and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Held responsible for adhering to regulatory requirements and standards.
• BUDGET CONTROL: Manage Expense and Capital budget for team and business area.
Qualifications
• 12+ year of IT or Business experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting IT solutions
• Experience and successful track record working closely with business partners to develop short- and long-term plans that will drive measurable business value
• Experience with implementing and supporting Finance / ERP platforms (preferable JDE) and HR Platforms like Peoplesofts, Workday, etc
• Experience implementing and supporting IT solutions in a global / international environment
• Experience in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Adept at developing successful relationships with business partners.
• Results orientation with a sense and urgency. Strong sense of ownership and accountability for achieving results
Preferred Qualifications include:
• Retail experience a plus but not required
• Experience with partnering with strategic Application Managed Services partner
• Demonstrated cross-functional business experience including proactive change management
• Ability to think about the future state and strategic directions while implementing quick wins and delivering business value in a cost effective and agile manner
