Description
This role partners with the business to achieve all retention, engagement and talent metrics and to support the delivery of the NA Affiliate’s sales and customer service targets. The incumbent oversees the implementation of the strategy through the leadership of the Retail HR Team and partnership of the Center of Excellence (COE) team. This position is based in Dallas, Texas.
Strategy:
•Ability to identify and feed to ED Sales Lead strategic issues/agendas to drive business effectively.
•Strong commercial and marketplace awareness including the ability to understand a P&L and key business drivers.
•Develops and executes action plan to achieve Regional business goals and objectives
•Ability to lead a comprehensive and collaborative approach toward Retail organizational effectiveness through maximizing talent and building a comprehensive strategy to enhance all points along the employee lifecycle: attraction, development, reward and retention.
•Develop and maintains action plan to achieve Regional business goals and objectives.
•Oversees development and execution of Affiliate action plans to achieve local business goals and objectives.
•Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of retail operations and the retail sales environment.
•Experience of working with Compensation & Benefits to design and implement POS remuneration models to incentivize business driving behaviors.
Leadership:
•Leads the Retail HR Manager Team to deliver/implement the strategy
•Coaches and develops the team to achieve performance standards
Talent Development
•Leads Talent planning process in partnership with local leaders and guides talent development.
•Coaches business partners on developing their teams and handling employee relations.
•Coaches and develops any direct reports.
•Partners with Talent Acquisition on developing local approach for needs analysis and attracting top retail talent.
•Assists with talent selection for key talent.
Employee Engagement
•Maintains a pulse on employee engagement through frequent market visits and ongoing dialogue with employees via regular focus groups.
•Serves as employee advocate and ensures the voice of the employee is considered in all decisions
Employee Relations
•Demonstrates success in managing complex employee relations issues:
•conducting investigations and hearings
•providing advice and coaching to managers
•negotiating with outside counsel
•Excellent knowledge of employment legislation (across states) and regulatory factors

Qualifications
Position requires 8+ Retail HR experience gained across the full HR spectrum
Minimum Education level:Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree in HR or related subject is preferred
