Benefit Cosmetics Canada is looking for a full-time Visual Merchandising Coordinator(1 year contract with potential of becoming permanent) to support all areas of the Visual Merchandising department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and understands the importance of crossing all the “t’s” and dotting the “i’s”. We are looking for a real “go-getter” who is able to work in a faced paced, dynamic environment and has a passion for retail store merchandising.
Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Manager, the Visual Merchandising Coordinatorwill support several key areas of the VM department with a focus on:
Administrative Support
• Support the organization and logistic details from beginning to end of quarterly updates for all retailers
• Assist with designing quarterly update merchandising booklets and adjusting graphics to ensure Canadian standards using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Record and maintain all vendor orders, forecasts and master store lists for all retailers
• Support with graphic review process (ensuring accuracy of spelling and pricing for all retailers)
Merchandising
• Support Regional Account Managers with in-store visual merchandising updates for all retailers (travel within GTA)
• Assist Senior Visual Merchandising Manager with in store and promotional events : packing, set up, tear down (travel within GTA)
• Maintain organized and up to date visual merchandising displays within the Benefit Canada Head Office
Sales/Competitor Research
• Work with Operations Coordinator on sales reports before and after visual merchandising updates to determine changes in SKUS sales
• Record functionality of design / assortment feedback from stores and regional account managers
• Visit retail stores to track and record shoppers habits and document competitor displays
Other projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Marketing and/or Merchandising or related field
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign) required
• Experience with Microsoft Office (basic excel, power point)
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Experience in office environment considered an asset
• Retail experience considered an asset
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
