MARKETING COORDINATOR, OPG
Perry Ellis International is seeking a bright and enthusiastic entry-level marketing coordinator for its Original Penguin division. Candidate must be an outward thinker with a passion for marketing and the Original Penguin brand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Marketing Day to Day
◦ Create concepts for brand events / partnerships, manage planning and execution
◦ Assist with production of all photo and video shoots, manage back-of-house while on set
◦ Manage brand marketing budget: monthly forecasts, accruals, invoices
◦ Sample coordination
◦ Assist in social media department: scheduling, content creation, copywriting
◦ Strategize with retail based on the needs of stores
◦ Update marketing calendar
◦ Develop marketing presentations
◦ Handle all monthly updates: trend books, brand books, editorial coverage, events, etc.
◦ Keep marketing department abreast of competitive advertising and visual needs, business and events
◦ Work closely with legal team: trademark clearances, third party agreements
• PR + Celebrity
◦ Manage all celebrity and influencer gifting
◦ Release weekly editorial summary
◦ Partner with global markets to ensure editorial calendars and tracking are accurate and distribute to internal stakeholders
◦ Review monthly editorial summaries to find opportunities
• Collegiate Marketing
◦ Oversee brand ambassador program
◦ Brainstorm on-campus tactics
◦ Source products + promotional items
• Licensee
◦ Secure all licensed product samples for brand campaign photoshoots, e-commerce and collateral shoots, as well as any additional marketing or press events
◦ Update internal, shared website for Original Penguin employees and licensees
◦ Ensure user experience and functionality communicate password and any updated information to associated parties
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing and/or Communications
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials Knowledge of Google Docs - Google docs, spreadsheets, presentations, file sharing, etc.
• Additional computer skills: Adobe Acrobat Reader, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, scanning, resizing. Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
