Description
As a Business Planning Finance Director within Global Business Planning, you will be a key business partner for driving Corporate Financial Planning (“CFP”). As a key owner of CFP, you will drive value through directing and coordinating the analysis and insight necessary to understand the implications of foreign exchange (“FX”), tax and other external factors (such as inflation, oil, competition, and other macro trends) on our financial projections and business plans. You will work closely with the technical functions and the business to align on and design the right planning architecture, detailing the processes, mechanisms and inputs that will deliver the insight and enable optimal decision making. You will apply strategic thinking and analysis to capitalize on marketplace trends and opportunities while managing against external factors such as macro-economic conditions, foreign exchange volatility, and changing competitive landscape. You will present your insight and analysis to senior leadership and be engaged in the dialogue and decision making as to how the business manages these dynamics within our plans.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis on Finance and/or Accounting, an advanced degree may be acceptable in lieu of 1 year of experience
• 8 years' extensive experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting
• 2 years' proven people management experience
• An MBA (with a concentration on Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field), CMA or CPA is preferred
• Strong knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, investment analysis and economic profit analysis and knowledge of GAAP is strongly preferred
• Experience with a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
• Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers
• Excellent understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as innovation, inspiration, employee development, coaching and engagement
• Ability to pass a 7 year background check
