JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Go-To-Market
• Lead the creation of the regional GTM seasonal calendar based on Global directions to deliver a clear map of the deadlines, activities and deliverables to the Regional and Geo merchandising team
• Drive translation of the GTM calendar into detailed process and timing and ways of working for AMA cross functional teams
• Organize training of the Regional and Geo merchandising teams to ensure critical deadlines are met on time and accurately
• Create standardized tools that enable merchandising teams to execute with clarity and consistency
• Provide insights and recommend ways to evolve process and tools
• Participate in and/or lead key strategic projects as required by the Merchandising leadership team to facilitate and drive ownership across the organization, problem solving to resolve issues and educating key opportunities to assure operational excellence
Milestones meetings & Regional Final Line Assort
• Lead the seasonal milestones meetings and orchestrate all logistics to ensure smooth and efficient execution, with a strong focus on RFLA
• Align and coordinate cross functional partners on timing, process and tools
• Manage the seasonal PLM process, activities and training for the Regional and Geo merchandising teams
• Lead the process hind-sighting to inform improvements in future seasons
Samples Management
• Lead the samples tracking process and the sample room organization with the regional merchandising team
• Drive the seasonal CS/AD sample process, including oversight of budget
• Ensure the seasonal set-up of the retail lab with the brand environment team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree required, master an asset
• 5+ years of operations experience required, with an apparel manufacturer, retailer or marketer preferred
• Specific working knowledge of apparel development calendars
• Proven experience in developing and implementing effective business processes and managing complex, cross functional projects
• Analytical skills – system oriented
• Ability to effectively interact and build partnerships with key stakeholders across functions and levels within the Global, Regional and Geo organizations.
• Exceptional level of collaboration and problem solving
• Extremely detail oriented and thorough
• Effective meeting facilitation skills
• Ability to anticipate, independently solve problems and provide regular feedback to the management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting information in front of groups
• Proficient with software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
