Specific Responsibilities
GBG licensing is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive marketing for the Kid’s division of a leading performance brand. GBG is looking for an organized, ambitious, detail-oriented teammate with at least 5-7 years of related marketing experience. The Manager will be responsible for working with the GBG business and licensing team on marketing strategy, liaising with marketing teammates from a leading performance brand to ensure alignment and secure approvals, and the ultimate go-to-market execution of the marketing campaigns. This individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a desire work in a fast paced environment, learning and adapting as needs of the business change.
• Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the leading performance brand’s Kid’s division in order to gain awareness for core & new product launches.
• Key liaison between GBG and a lead performance brand’s marketing & business teams to ensure:
◦ Understanding of sales goals by category & distribution channel.
◦ Familiarity of product assortment & attributes and point of difference to competition.
◦ Alignment with brand’s marketing direction and brand standards.
• Manage and coordinate marketing strategies and development of media plan, creative assets, and direct market research efforts.
• Liaise with media organizations and advertising agencies.
• Responsible for collaborating with sales executives to determine marketing budgets and analyzing ROI.
Skills and Requirements
• 5-7 years of agency marketing experience.
• Must be a great business leader as well as a great marketing leader.
• Strong understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
• Demonstrated track record in digital media strategy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
• Budget-management skills and proficiency.
• Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field.
• Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
• Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
