The Project Manager of Labor Allocation is responsible for managing all operational aspects of labor hour allocation, including weekly workload management and capacity planning for the stores. He/she must have a deep understanding of store operations and the impact that various store attributes have on labor requirements. This Project Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining labor standards and a labor model that accurately allocate hours to individual stores, working with the Field Finance team to ensure the allocation is within the payroll budget. The person in this role is expected to be the functional expert of the automated labor scheduling system and support stores in utilizing the system effectively.
Essential Job Functions
·Ensure weekly labor hours are generated and communicated accurately for all stores
·Work with HQ business partners to coordinate and manage weekly workload requirements for stores
·Respond to field questions regarding labor hours allocation and scheduling
·Provide regular updates to labor forecast for Field Finance team and support the annual budgeting process
·Design and execute studies to keep labor standards current, creating new standards as needed
·Lead updates to labor model as needed to support changes in business processes and service model
·Support the maintenance of and updates to the centralized scheduling system
·Partner with Learning and Development to create training, tools, and resources around labor management
·Continuously look for opportunities to improve labor management processes to be more efficient and effective
·Perform ad-hoc analysis supporting labor and other operational functions as requested
·Up to 35% travel may be required to observe processes and support stores across the fleet

·BA/BS or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance
MOST work measurement certification a plus
