Summary:
There is an immediate opening for a Digital Business Intelligent Analyst on our Nautica team. This position is responsible for supporting the e-Commerce and Marketing teams with reporting an in-depth analysis. This position is instrumental in the development and delivery of business intelligence reporting with actionable data analysis easily accessible to business decision makers. This position enables and empowers the organizations with analytic insight to support planning, tactical execution, and optimization of the customer experience.
• Responsible for delivering analysis support and data-driven guidance to the e-commerce leadership teams for Kipling and Nautica and other stakeholders throughout the VF Sportswear organization
• Interact directly and collaboratively with key stakeholders (marketing, merchandising, operations) to understand objectives and identify the key data points which will deliver valuable, actionable insights and areas of opportunity
• Develop processes to improve BI tools, systems. Drive Reporting consistency
• Lead effort with internal and external partners to develop and refine digital marketing attribution methodology. Goal: optimize digital marketing spend.
• Work with VF digital SMEs on the development of a holistic (cross-channel) view of the customer. Goal: better understand customers’ behaviors and expectations to enhance relevancy of communications and offers.
• Analyze data from different sources (eg Google Analytics, Foresee, Hitwise) to develop understanding of website behaviors and identify, prioritize areas of improvement in site usability and merchandising.
• Compile available information for multiple sources to determine best insights for key business questions.
Education/Experience:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+
5+ Years working in a digital or e-commerce environment
Bachelors or Business Management degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
• Retail e-commerce experience required.
• Experience with internet based technology platforms
• Proficiency with Adobe Analytics required. Working knowledge of Coremetrics and/or Omniture a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel required incl. experience with charting, using large data sets and macros
• Passion for retail e-commerce analytics and intellectual curiosity is required. Proven ability to pro-actively ask and propose rather than merely react and deliver on questions asked by others.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce (incl. mobile) technology platforms, payment processes, content management required.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and executional skills
• Strong ability to multi-task, extremely organized with attention to detail
• High level of initiative (self-motivation)
