POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Marketing Department, the primary responsibility of the Sr. Marketing Operations Manager is to manage and supervise the TNF Marketing Go-To-Market Calendar as well as all hang tag/packaging, workbook, and copywriting deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise, manage, and help develop the skills of members of the marketing operations team. Assign team members to projects, monitor projects on an ongoing basis, keep all parties informed of project status, and any changes or updates.
• Oversee all aspects of print production including but not limited to workbooks, packaging, copywriting, and Go-To-Market Calendar. Oversee day-to-day workflow of production and project management of marketing team's Go-To-Market calendar to ensure overall objectives are met successfully.
• Evaluate production setup/systems on an ongoing basis and make recommendations for improvements and cost savings opportunities.
• Establish project management and production policies and procedures that contribute to enhanced productivity of the marketing operations team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously delivering a high quality end product that is both on time and within budget. Lead and supervise operations process coordinator.
• Ensure that the marketing operations team delivers innovative and high quality marketing materials that meet and exceed company objectives. Develop, maintain, track and distribute Go-To-Market Calendar and execute weekly Go-To-Market meetings.
• Accountable for development, management and adherence to projects budgets and timelines.
• Review and approve retouching, color separations, color proofs, and mechanicals to ensuring high levels of quality.
• Negotiate with external vendors with regards to project management, printing and fulfillment jobs.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 7+ years of print production and project management experience in design studio, advertising agency, creative services department or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Adobe Acrobat and archiving applications. Experience working in a dual PC and Mac environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, with proven problem solving ability.
• Strong communication, organization, project and time management, negotiation and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated track record in meeting deadlines, on time and on budget, and effective use of resources.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain diplomacy and tact under fire.
• Provide influential leadership.
