This is an exciting opportunity for you to join ASOS as a Lead Digital Analytics & Optimisation Manager and own the vision of how data and testing can help shape the future of ASOS digital products. You will be a data expert with an excellent track record of delivering insights in an ecommerce environment, with extensive experience in user journey analysis and optimisation. Translating complex quantitative analysis into actionable insights and collaborating with senior management in Product and Tech, you will be key in shaping the digital product strategy here at ASOS. You also will be joining a growing community of over 40 analysts, managers and data scientists.
What you'll be doing...
• Bring leadership and business transformation to how Product Management and Tech use digital data and testing with the objective of supporting and inspire product development
• In partnership with Head of Product & UX work out a matrix team arrangement for product delivery, with analysts supporting on the pre-launch insight and post-launch measurement of our digital products
• Use of analytics data to support continual optimisation of our experiences and platforms both through standard A/B testing but also the use of data and segments to personalise experiences and messaging onsite
• Manage and mentor a growing team of analysts and analytics managers. Review team structure (both current and planned headcount) and ensure management, development and deployment of resources are optimal
• Identify the right balance between strategic deep dives and BAU requests for your team
• Build strong cross-function relationships, within the Analytics team but also with the leadership of Data Science, Customer Strategy and Brand Insight
• Maintain and enhance the current stack of tracking tools to ensure the most accurate measurement of customer journeys
We'd love to meet someone with...
• Experience in digital analytics, including experience managing a team
• Strong experience analysing user experience and cross-platform behaviour
• Experience with Adobe Analytics, Target or similar analytics and testing tools
• Highly numerate with a high standard of accuracy with data and commercial awareness of its usage
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computation, Economics, Business or Finance
• A/B Grade in Mathematics at GCSE and A-level (or equivalent)
• Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely – the team’s focus is on delivering insights, not reports
• Ability to handle multiple tasks managing priorities and focus as needed
