Associate Producer assists Projects Producer in developing product and brand on-air promotions and short form videos for multi-platform use to drive sales and promote HSN, the brand and the product. Production teams need to tailor content to each platform as needed including but not limited to social media, HSN.com, HSN TV and find opportunities to share content where possible to scale costs and share resources. Focus must be to drive sales and promote HSN, the brand and the product. Candidate must be a team player able to multi-task and both generate ideas and manage logistics.
Day in the Life
• Assist creation of content for TV interstitials (e.g. marketing ‘Spotlights’ & ‘Quickbuys’) plus additional network/brand identity material and TV/app/HSN.com show/product-specific b-roll/content support.
• Assist Producer with all aspects of production including but not limited to concepting, budgeting, scripting, booking talent/crews/resources, requesting GFX/music, managing/directing shoot (both single camera and studio multi-camera) through approval stage to post/delivery- and all on tight deadlines.
• Must embrace change and continually innovate: generate and pitch ideas on a daily basis.
• Be able to script conversationally and tailored to platform as needed; and also write copy (for social media, metadata, graphics).
• Talent: must successfully partner with hosts and guests.
• Must be able to step up to Producer role as needed to cover for holidays/absences etc.

Must Haves
• 2 years experience in TV production
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Experience in promotions/advertising
• Shooting and studio production experience & post-production experience
• Comfortable in very fast-paced, deadline- driven work environment in field where change is constant
• Have an excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work out of hours/ travel as needed
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Schedule: Primarily schedule M-F with regular business hours. May occasionally be required to work nontraditional hours such as weekends and nights. Must be willing to work outside of typical business hours and travel as needed
Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves”.
Nice to Haves
• Degree in TV Production or related field
• 3+ years experience in live television or remote production
• Knowledge of video production/graphic design a plus
