Bumble and bumble & GLAMGLOW Visual Merchandising Executive
Description
Working across both Bumble and bumble & GLAMGLOW, you will ensure visual excellence in all stores and salons; and at all events and pop ups for both brands, in collaboration with the global brand team and supported by the Marketing Managers for both brands. This role reports into the Marketing Managers for Bumble and bumble & GLAMGLOW.
KEY TASKS
Work with Marketing teams to help define VM launch plans across all distribution, proactively adding value with creative input wherever possible, and respecting individual brand codes throughout.
With support from the Marketing Managers, create and execute all visual merchandising for stores, salons, pop ups and events; project managing from concept to installation and removal. Ensure all stakeholders are up to date at all times.
With the support of the Marketing Managers, develop and implement launch programmes and:
• coordinate POS and print requirements
• develop planograms for all distribution channels, including bespoke per door where required
• prepare clear briefs for supplier to secure best cost
• supply all artwork to printer in good time, and liaise with Global teams for any specific requirements
• manage match-proofing of visuals and ensure compliance in terms of usage rights and visual expiry dates
• ensure successful and timely implementation of all launch collateral
Create and cascade VM communications across each brand to Sales and Field teams, clearly and in good time, to ensure high-touch execution in store.
Collaborate with the Procurement team on briefing, prototyping and developing specific POS projects with new or existing suppliers.
Ensure distribution lists and store photo databases are updated regularly.
With support of the Marketing Managers, create and deliver presentations for internal or external use.
Maintain an awareness of competitor activity and interesting creative tools.
Support Marketing, PR and Education teams at events when required, and assist in the development and implementation of VM for Conference set ups, Retailer Strategy meetings and promotional site opportunities.
Conduct regular store visits to support SEEs and to coach in-store teams to ensure perfect implementation of Merchandising Guidelines, site visits to check new installations, and to see competitor activity and best practices.
Assist the Marketing Managers in managing the visual merchandising budget within cost targets, negotiating best rates and maximising our resources.
Partner with the Store Design Team and Brand Manager to design store openings and store installations ensuring conceptualisation and visualisation of the brands are consistent.
Qualifications
Good experience in a visual merchandising/creative role
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Good visual awareness, creative ability and driver of innovation
• Strong attention to detail and operational execution and keen to develop strategic ability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion for and knowledge of the beauty industry; hair and skincare experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience assisting in the management of budgets to target
• Results driven with a challenger mind-set and entrepreneurial spirit.
