Internship at the adidas Group
The purpose of this internship is to provide the internship student with experience of the practical application of theoretical knowledge the internship student has already acquired at university and to acquire new skills and knowledge. This internship description contains tasks and responsibilities that will be learned step by step and the internship student will be accompanied by adidas employees at all times. adidas International/ Marketing /Trading B.V. will ensure that the internship student is given tasks and responsibilities according to the level of competence of the student and the educational objectives for the internship period. The internship student will sign an internship agreement, which is not an employment contract.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Assist with running the Transfer Price model
• Support review of areas RFC during the year and of Transfer Prices together with Group Taxes
• Assist with run monthly / quarterly aITBV royalty expense calculations for brands adidas and Reebok
• Relationship management/networking with internal parties such as global customs team, group tax, etc.
• Maintain close contact with the TradeCo finance teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• You are following a study with a focus on finance, controlling, accounting, or business administration. – Enrolled for the complete duration of the internship (EU citizens only! Only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations.)
• You are fluent in English spoken and written
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
• High comfort/Knowledge level with standard software (Excel, Access) essential
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Ability to meet critical deadlines with strong planning and organizing skills.
• Strong and clear communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly Numerate with strong analytical skills
• You are a team player, communicative, and motivated
