Major Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for implementing and managing Lord & Taylor’s social media efforts across all social platforms.
We’re looking for a social media candidate who has hands on experience in a wide array of channels and is well-versed in social media vocabulary, tools, paid advertising, processes, analytics, emerging trends and best practices. Working closely with internal and external partners, this position will drive innovation in social media and keep L&T at the forefront of the social media space.
Role responsibilities include:
• Ownership of social strategy and execution of brand verticals across social platforms
• Develop a proactive content calendar that aligns and supports the overall marketing communication strategy, alongside publishing of content
• Activation of paid campaigns across initiatives, alongside providing post-campaign reporting and insights to assist in establishing benchmarks
• Establish and maintain evergreen reporting across social channels to understand trends, insights and growth opportunities
• Partner with Senior Manager and/or Assistant Manager to collaborate with internal and external experts to create, produce, and distribute engaging and immersive content for our members on a regular basis (internal content, user-generated, etc.)
• Assist creative and social teams in creation of social assets across channels
• Assist team in large- and small-scale initiatives to support L&T’s social media strategy
• Partner with Customer Service to ensure that daily customer communications are dealt with properly
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
• 2 years of social and or online marketing experience and bachelor’s degree
• Verifiable track record of social media campaign development & performance analysis, for both paid and organic campaigns
• Experienced in social media monitoring tools, and is well versed on industry trends and innovations
• Expertise with sourcing and managing content development and publishing
• Possesses functional experience with Photoshop
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience managing large scale projects (manage timelines, deliverables, etc) and can aggressively manage 3rd party partners
• Must possess creativity and demonstrate self-immersion in social media
Educational Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in relevant discipline.
