What you’ll be doing…
• Planning and taking the lead on full end to end procurement activities,
• Managing a varied, high volume workload of tactical/ lower value procurement activity,
• Supporting the Category Manager in the development of category strategies,
• Planning and successfully conducting commercial negotiations,
• Conducting analysis on bid/ RfX responses and identifying the most commercially advantageous offer to asos,
• Develop solid relationships within ASOS, creating a seamless approach to service delivery.
• Advising business stakeholders on the appropriate procurement approach to get the best results,
• Managing supplier relationships at an appropriate level,
• Supporting the implementation of world class excellent procurement practices,
• Taking responsibility for achieving and reporting financial savings targets
• Be an e-auction system user and ensure appropriate support in preparing and executing e-auctions
• Day to day supplier / contract management,
• Support and take ownership of delivery of financial and non-financial targets, inclusive but not exhaustive of sustainable cost savings, supplier management, support in procurement data management and supplier management etc.
We’d love to meet, someone with…
• 3+ years’ experience in procurement as a buyer are preferable, for an exceptional candidate we are willing to look at someone with less experience; understanding of procurement and some experience in actually doing procurement are required though,
• Knowledge and experience of some or all of the following categories of spend is desirable: hard and soft facilities management, packaging , and/ or professional services,
• Experience of forming and managing effective Stakeholder and Supplier relationships,
• Ability to deliver tangible results whilst working in a challenging and ever changing environment,
• Ability to face and resolve multiple issues in a collaborative manner,
• Ability to plan, work to a structured timetable and be focused on deliverables,
• Good Excel /analytical and presentation skills,
• Degree level education essential; MCIPS desired.

• Down to earth character that takes people with him/her on a journey of cultural change,
