JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
The Sr. Director of US Consumer Marketing leads the integrated deployment of global marketing programs and assets (including advertising, media, PR, engagement and digital) across the US to build brand equity and financial growth for the Levi's brand; ensures all activities support a globally-consistent and compelling Levi's Brand experience; and ensures that regional needs are briefed into global.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of the US seasonal and annual Marketing plans, adapting global marketing programs to local needs
• Create US specific activation plans and creative when needed
• Drive integration across all marketing functions, across the total region. Ensure all activities align with the designated “look & feel”
• Develop media plans that drive sales, equity, and ROI, and support seasonal programs. Lead contact with local agency
• Develop engagement programs that put brand at center of culture and drive love of Levi’s brand
• Define and align the fixed and flex elements of the plan
• Develop local marketing brief to inform Global Marketing organization regarding local requirements and opportunities, based on deep understanding of customers, consumers and competitors as well as other attributes of the marketplace
• Responsible for the local Marketing budget and optimizing the cost to benefit ratio
• Coach and mentor team to enable country level execution
• Trusted advisor to LSA Marketing VP and member of LSA Marketing leadership team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
• 10 + years direct marketing leadership experience working at an apparel or other lifestyle brand
• Strong people skills – proven track record of developing talent and driving team engagement
• Able to solve complex problems
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
• Able to extract insights from multiple data sources, and make informed, strategic decisions
• Excellent writing and speaking skills. Can present with impact, and motivate teams
• Genuine love of music + pop culture
