Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Manager and Director in driving online acquisition strategies and tactics via display advertising. This person will also facilitate special projects and multi-channel opportunities along with ongoing interaction with cross-functional teams across the organization including but not limited to Merchandising, Operations, Creative and Store marketing teams. This person will report into the Saks Display Manager and work alongside the Display coordinator.
Specifically, the primary goals for this role will include:
• Assist the Manager with daily/weekly analysis of display marketing channel tactics
• Facilitate with category managers quarterly priorities and coordinate key promotional efforts
• Collaborate with internal creative team and internal owners to create promotional and non-promotional calendar
• Work with the coordinator to manage creative requests.
• Review weekly / monthly performance by campaign, promotion and banner type.
• Work with agency partners to manage campaign delivery goals, budgets, reporting, trafficking and monthly invoicing.
• Assist with ad-hoc trafficking and reporting requests for key direct site buys.
• Identifying new partners and help to evaluate their opportunities/offerings
• Continuous work to strengthen and revise current processes
• Assist and support the Marketing Specialists on projects as needed
• Competitive research across paid social and display acquisition tactics.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• BS or BA required, concentration in Marketing a plus
• 3-4 years in marketing, with digital direct response marketing experience. Agency preferred.
Skills:
• Online analytics, experience with Adobe / Omniture and knowledge of 3rd party analytics tools such as DCM, preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to step back and see the big picture to inform optimizations/decisions.
• Detail oriented, meticulous organizational skills, ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, ability to work well with teams and build relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, project management, ability to quickly ascend a learning curve, comfortable working with data.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities
• Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines. The right candidate will be able to juggle several, sometimes conflicting deadlines.
