Purpose
• To support the North America DTC (both brick & mortar and e-commerce) strategy and vision by the creation, development and delivery of strategic messaging, communications and presentations related to the strategic business plan (SBP), key strategic and business related topics.
• Support analytics on business, competition, consumers and marketplace
• Influence HQ, internal and external stakeholders with full understanding of the strategic plans and business priorities translated into impactful communications.
• Support decision making with brand, market, consumer, customer and competitor intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics, Reporting and Executive Presentations
• Identify key issues, structure problems, and deliver potential solutions that drive value creation within the owned retail portion of the marketplace
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including financial modeling
• Manage regular cadence of retail reporting and synthesize key insights
• Work closely with DTC senior management and to craft and align on communications, messaging.
• Prepare key presentations for senior management (including adidas DTC VP), Global HQ senior management (including board members) and external stakeholders
• Support head of adidas US DTC
Strategic Business Plan Management
• Support development of DTC strategic business plans through research and analysis. This includes Concept Stores, Factory Outlet and E-commerce.
• Analyze competitor strategies and performance to identify threats/opportunities across channels and and categories
• Mine consumer insights data to identify actionable opportunities for adidas US
• Support cross-functional business partners with analytic insights and problem solving
• Align with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to develop full understanding of strategy, SBP and key projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial and business acumen
• Ability to understand key strategic and business concepts and translate into effective methods of communication
• High personal impact and communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to navigate a matrix organization
• Ability to organize data, analyze information and draw powerful insights
• Comfortable working closely and facilitating with senior executives
• Mastery of MS Powerpoint and Excel. Familiarity with Tableau a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English
Qualifications
1. Minimum 10 years of strategy, business development, consulting and/or finance experience preferably in the sporting goods industry or retail industry
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
3. MBA Degree preferred
