Position Overview:
The digital creative works under VP of Marketing and VP of E-commerce to manage daily operations in both departments responsible for creative works, including E-commerce weekly business update, weekly e-newsletters and promotional activities throughout digital owned channels as well as overseeing all of digital creative productions and E-Commerce presentation update creative process. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead in-house creative members to develop design, layout and release of assigned pages, content and projects whilst aligning with overall company objectives.
• Work very closely with other Marketing and E-Commerce function leaders to ensure all of digital creative presentations is brand-centric, make a measurable impact and be consistent with the overall marketing strategy as well as content quality is on brand and compelling
• Collaborate with Merchandising / Allocation teams to ensure product content consistency in design aligns with company’s business objectives.
• Work with external creative partners and maintain proper administrative controls to ensure all deadlines/release dates are met.
• Manage marketing/creative assets from the Global team to ensure the proper assets are being leveraged in the design locally as well as adhering to global brand creative direction.
• Use of CMS in order to edit/create pages, assist other members and departments with adding/editing content.
• Responsible for post-creative production follow through usability tests on all of digital experiences.
Qualifications:
• At least 7-8 years of web/digital design experience in fashion, editorial, ecommerce, retail, or advertising.
• Manage time super efficiently to meet all project deadlines.
• Ability to follow direction quickly based on feedback provided
• Experience and passion for apparel fashion / retail E-commerce is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Deep understanding in web design, type treatment, communication design.
• Strong conceptual design skills with knowledge products, brand, design, graphics and concept inspiration.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to function within deadlines, while working both independently and as part of the team.
• Knowing Demandware is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
• Ability to take direction and accept critical review of your work
• Clear understanding and appreciation of schedules.
• Good teamwork and corroboration skill is required.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of customers' needs, product and the competitive landscape.
• A positive CAN DO approach is a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent communicator written and orally.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally.
• Ability to manage personal time and deadlines, as well as the ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the E-Commerce and Direct business.
• Constant drive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments.
• Capability to adhere to team processes and standards, while leading improvement efforts where applicable.
• Ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing a consistently high level of attention to detail.
