Purpose
Strategy & Delivery department remit is to define the broader strategy frame for Digital Brand Commerce (DBC) and turn it into actionable reality through orchestrating the delivery of the end-to-end landscape of DBC. This extends further to owning the strategy through to implementation of functional areas of Consumer Engagement, Mobile Apps, and Retail Digital.
Key Accountabilities
• To drive the business development of market expansion into e-com with premium shopping experience at the heart. Support the DBC expansion into broader markets, developing and managing the execution of key strategic priorities and commitments from DBC
• Create business case per market with support from analytics and market teams to evaluate growth opportunity
• Responsible to clarify legal requirements per market
• Responsible to develop the direction and plan/build with IT a “light” globally relevant standardized solution
• Plan and execute Market roll-out, with Mobile as priority
• Develop the operational concept and run a centralized operations team for the “light” solution
• Plan and enable the transition of 3rd party website providers, including Licensee’s, into alternate “light solution”
• Initiate and lead project management and implementation for market expansion
• Pro-active liaisons with markets and DBC Key stakeholders
• Lead and ensure a smooth change management process for all implementations into new markets
• Ensure stakeholders for the required infrastructure are on-boarded and prepared accordingly for the roll-out (eg. Legal, tax, logistics, warehousing, payment vendors, market teams) to enable holistic approach
• Lead team and foster high performance culture within the team; develop and retail key talents.
• Sets clear expectations and goals
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
• University degree in business administration or comparable degree
• Min. 12 years professional experience in multi-national business environment
• Min. 5 years management experience
• In depth E2E understanding of Digital and eCommerce with cross-functional experience in finance, operation, marketing and/or sales in the sporting goods industry
• Proven experience in managing global projects
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, working with a wide stakeholder group
• Proven experience in dealing with vendors
• Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills
• Fluent in English
