Purpose
The Director, Global Digital Content is someone with skills that lie creating digital content strategy, frameworks and plans that marry customer knowledge/behavior, media usage and creative/storytelling. They understand the significance of having the right content and are a digital native.
We’re looking for somebody who lives and breathes in the content space. Someone who understands the linkage between content and digital consumer experiences but more importantly has the creative spark to define relevant content to engage and inspire our consumers across our digital touch points.
The person should be a media enthusiast passionate about consumers, well organized and detail orientated and open to new stimuli and ideas.
Key Accountabilities
• Responsible to update the overarching Global Digital Content strategy.
• Lead and drive the creation of BU and markets specific contact & content planning across all digital touch points, considering acquisition, Product Launch and Lifecycle program frameworks from Strategy & Delivery
• Responsible to create and implement content best practice
• Lead and drive content development around sports marketing, entertainment and influencer assets
• Lead and drive the deployment of content, category themes and stories framework to markets for adoption/ modification
• Responsible to define and Share best practices and training in content, theme and story development in line with Digital Brand Commerce requirements
• Responsible to manage the production of BU content that falls outside of the BU production calendar
• Partner with internal stakeholders to manage the co-creation and refresh of all digital content guidelines and frameworks.
• Oversee internal alignment and communication to ensure all content creators are able to leverage of the most up to date guidelines
• Define and deliver against Global Brand Category Digital Content KPIS and ensure Global Brand Category Digital Content seasonal plans are optimized based on results and insights.
• Evaluate the competencies of your Team on a regular basis and provide prompt feedback and guidance to drive high performance.
• Take ownership for Talent Management processes to grow, develop and retain talent.
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:
• At least 10+ years digital marketing experience (agency or client)
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of consumer content marketing
• Passionate about content marketing within the broader marketing mix
• Experience of working in an international team
• Results-driven and process focused with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good analytical and project management skillsSuperb written and verbal communication skills, especially in English
Qualifications
1. University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
2. 10+ years of digital marketing experience (agency or client)
