Overview
Our Digital Content & Media Manager will be responsible for communicating our brand stories for 5 U.S. divisions through digital channels for both owned social media assets and through paid media support. We are seeking someone who is connected to bloggers, content creators and influencers and stays abreast of the evolving landscape in the completive social universe. He or she will be responsible for ensuring our stories come to life from the production and process side. Assisting in the development and execution of outbound communications content is needed. The manager will also work closely with all internal marketing and product teams for each program.
The ideal candidate will have some experience with various facets of marketing, including advertising, content development, social media, digital & mobile advertising, and media. Candidates should have basic digital knowledge, and be fully adept on social media platforms. Possessing a strong ability to influence others in selling innovative and new ideas is needed for success in this role. This position requires extensive collaboration with both product and marketing teams on-site and off-site. This position reports to the Sr Manager of Brand Connections with strong responsibility to the social media team.
Responsibilities
• Manage and develop content across all brands for various channels including owned social media and digital.
• Utilize creative skills to aid in the development of outbound communications.
• Collaborate with our internal Wausau, Wisconsin studio and manage outside resources in content generation.
• Ensure all content is optimized by customizing the content individually based by channel: mobile, social,
• Research content partners for social channels across multiple brands.
• Partner with social media managers to help manage channel content from events, shoot and appearances. Cover live events on Snapchat, IG stories, and any other emerging mediums.
• Work with brand connections and social director on implementing and executing paid social campaigns and optimizing creative.
• Ensures all campaign and launch assets are in sync creatively.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree
• 3-5 years experience in marketing/advertising/digital/social at a corporation, agency or media company
• Adept at using all social channels including from a live capacity
• Strong connection to sneaker/sports culture - WordPress/Blogger/Tumbler
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing requirements and technologies
• Strong computer and design skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
