Purpose and Scope:The People and Development (HR) Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting the strategic execution of Human Resources programs. The People and Development Coordinator is also responsible for fostering productive cross-functional relationships with internal/external partners. Teamwork, process and systems, relationship management, effective communication, as well as attention to detail are critical aspects of this role
Key Responsibilities:
• Onboarding
Execute and facilitate new hire onboarding process in accordance with established best practices and processes including paperwork and system transactions
Partner with Manager and Talent Acquisition to facilitate smooth process for Hiring Manager and New Hire including timely communication and escalation of any issues as needed
Performance & Talent Management
Provide support during the annual performance / talent management and salary planning process.
Employee Engagement & Learning and Development
Provide support for all philanthropic and engagement events
Provide support for rewards and recognition programs
Support the employee enrollment process for select Learning & Development initiatives
Assist with the planning and execution of larger team meetings, town halls and events
Provide support for HR facilitated employee trainings
Employee Communication
Support and develop communication content and plans as directed by HR leadership (performance management cycle, employee engagement, general updates and announcements)
Handle general inquiries and requests from employee population (payroll, policies, etc.) including partnering with employees and managers to facilitate the Leave of Absence process
Systems & Reporting
Responsible for accurate and timely SAP transaction execution and maintenance of supported business areas
Execution of standard/ongoing reporting and reporting by request
Maintain and update Talent Management system as requested
Maintain organized records in team shared drive
General Support
Provide support for all aspects of the employee lifecycle
Maintain organizational charts in Microsoft Visio
Support the FMLA/LOA process and communication
PowerPoint and Excel document management
Provide project management support for HR initiatives
Provide general administrative and office support
Other responsibilities as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with Human Resources concentration preferred
• 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint and familiarity with HRIS systems
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP preferred
• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• Ability to provide solutions and effectively problem solve
• Well-developed written and verbal presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Process oriented and highly organized with acute attention to detail
• Team player who builds and maintains relationships
• Focus and strong desire to provide high quality customer service
