Your Role
The Fossil Group Finance Team is currently searching for a Director of Corporate Finance and FP&A.
This position will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and work closely with the members of the Executive Leadership Team, Regional CFO’s and Financial Leaders, VP of Accounting, VP of Tax as well as Operations, Brand and Product Development personnel to understand the causes of period to period fluctuations, anticipate trends and perform business scenario modeling.
Operating in a matrix organization, this position is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of current operating performance results, reviewing action plans, and recommending changes to support improving and attaining financial, employee, and customer targets across all of Fossil Group regions. This position plays a significant role in leading the strategic financial planning processes, annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and facilitating strategic plan reviews. Additional responsibilities include: manage, train, motivate and influence a group of junior analysts, capital budgeting, corporate expense management, long-range planning, M&A activity, short-term and long-term cash forecasting, strategic planning, earnings release, ad hoc financial analyses, coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, implement and maintain other planning and controlling procedures, and analyze and report variances.
Your Skills
-Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting
-10 + years of financial analysis and strategic business planning experience
-CPA/MBA preferred
-Management consulting, Big 4 accounting or investment banking a plus
-Effectively partner and influence senior level cross-functional teams
-Ability to drive alignment and trade-off decisions across the organization
-Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect teams
-Strong analytical/problem solving skills
-Ability to model analytics and work with business unit leaders to act on appropriate changes
-Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and reporting
-Experience with Hyperion, Essbase, or similar type of financial software
